Historical building restoration preserves our buildings for the future, it also preserves our country’s past.All countries have detailed history and we should preserve that for not only us but our future generations.They are the visual representation of our history; a testament to the architectural prowess of our ancestors. For that reason, allowing these buildings to fall into disrepair is to disregard all of that history and the lessons we can learn from it. Preserving our past also gives one a time line how one progresses. It’s also great for the community as a project to get involved in as it’s their heritage too. When one comes home from a holiday or even a hard days work , once they see one particular landmark there’s a sense of well-being as it merely says ‘your home’ .
